Biography

He studied History at Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), where he defended his thesis in 1996 about political and ideological resistance in the province of Hainaut during the Second World War. From 1985 to 1989 he was FNRS Aspirant and from summer 1989 to 1995 he was an assistant at UCL and Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis. In 1995, he was appointed at Cegesoma, among others as editorial secretary for the Cahiers d'histoire du temps présent from 1996 to 2010, as head of communication (website and Bulletin) from 2005 to 2016, and as head of the Documentation department from 2011 to 2016. Since May 2017, he is in charge of the valorisation of the collections. His main fields of scietific research are the Resistance and Catholicism in Belgium during the Second World War.
